Something wrong with an entry?
This archive is only worth what its worst entry is worth. Four things are always worth reporting, and the first two get fixed fastest.
worth reporting
- A source that does not say what we claim it says — or that no longer opens.
- A number that does not hold up, or a date that belongs to a different event.
- It is really just standard practice — the move was already ordinary in that field at that time. That is our most common mistake and we would rather hear it from you.
- It never happened. Business folklore is convincing and wrong more often than anyone admits.
how to send it
There is no form yet — the archive is a few days old and a form nobody reads is worse than none. Send the entry's id (the last part of its URL, like van-halen-1982), what is wrong, and a source if you have one, to hello@genius.wiki.
Every correction is applied to the entry itself and logged. Entries that fail the bar on review are demoted rather than deleted, with the reason attached — the record of what did not qualify is part of how the bar stays honest.
